Judgement and loving yourself

Hello friends

Let's be honest at some point in our lives we all have judged someone, maybe without even trying but we all have. We also have felt insecure and maybe even ashamed. Yes, we are humans and most of the times we do things without thinking but it doesn't mean that's okay. I am guilty of doing this things but I can tell you that I have been working on it. For many years I used to be very judgmental towards others and to be honest I'm still working on it. I'm not perfect. At this point in my life I try not to judge others but the only person I do judge is my fiance. I can be very hard on him sometimes but then after a few minutes I try to apologize. That's one thing I'm proud of doing. For many years I used to think that it didn't matter if I hurt somebody with my opinion, I would not apologize. I used to be that way because for many years I used to be so good to others and they would only hurt me and judge me. I had a really complicated relationship with my family if we had a relationship at all. I became judgmental and hurtful just like they were to me. I'm very happy now that I can say I am not that way anymore. What I'm trying to say is that life is too short to be judging others. Enjoy life, love yourself don't be ashamed of who you are. Get to know others without judging them, they could become your friends. I used to me ashamed of my past and ashamed of who I am because for many years people told me that it was wrong to be the way I am but guess what, those people just want to bring you down. We are all different and we all think in a different way and that makes us special. Enjoy your life, do the things you love to do, be yourself and love yourself. It doesn't matter what others think of you all that matters is what you think of yourself. Don't follow this society's standards and expectations, be free!

Love yourself and if you are not happy with yourself right now it might be because you are not letting the real you shine through! Stop listening to those who only want to hurt you. Embrace yourself! Be unique and don't judge others.

You're not perfect but that's okay!

Love,
Yari.

  1. I think it's important to remember how hard we've all worked to become the people that we are now, and we'll have to work even harder in the future to become the people that we're destined to be. This is such a refreshing post to read.

    1. I totally agree with you! We have to work hard to become who we are destined to be but when we become that person our hard work will be rewarded.
